The classic Sun Wheel symbol featuring an equal-armed cross within a circle appears in the iconography of numerous cultures across the Globe from the dawn of history.

This particular Talisman is inspired by a specific version of the Sun Wheel dating from the second half of the second millennium BC, found in Zürich, and displayed at the Swiss National Museum (see last pic).

This listing is for one Talisman.

– Handmade by me.
– Sterling silver, sustainable and ethically recycled in France.
– Crafted upon order.
– The wheel size is approximately: 2.8 x 2.8cm / 1,1 x 1.1 inches

Each talisman is sawn, assembled by soldering, hammered then polished ; entirely handmade. Each one is unique and has its very own shape and character.

– Choose the chain length:
45, 50, 55 or 60cm / 17.7, 19.7, 20.7 or 21.7 inches.

– The pendant is also available without chain.
Note: on the version without chain the jumpring will be slightly bigger to allow chains or cords to go through.

Each piece is made upon order. Which can take up to twenty days.

SOLSTICE. Talisman Roue / Croix Solaire. Unique (argent fin recyclé – vie protection)

Le symbole classique de la Roue solaire, représentant une croix aux bras égaux dans un cercle, apparaît dans l’iconographie d’un grand nombre de cultures à travers le monde depuis l’aube de l’histoire.

Ce talisman particulier est inspiré d’une version spécifique de la roue solaire datant de la seconde moitié du deuxième millénaire avant JC, trouvée à Zürich et conservée au Musée national suisse (voir dernière photo).

– Argent massif, écologique, recyclé en France de façon éthique.

– Le pendentif mesure approximativement : 2.8 x 2.8cm / 1,1 x 1.1 inches

Chaque talisman est scié, assemblé par soudure, martelé et poli ; le tout entièrement à la main. Chacun est unique et possède une forme et un caractère qui lui sont propres.

– Le pendentif est également disponible sans chaîne.
A noter: dans la version sans chaîne l’anneau sera légèrement plus grand afin de permettre aux chaînes ou cordons de passer.
