A cross with three circles on each end in a Christian context represents the Holy Trinity.
However, it would appear that it might have been inspired by Celtic Druidry, where the circles represent the three dominions of Earth, Sky and Sea.

“Memento Mori” means “Remember you must die”. This Latin phrase has been used for many centuries to designate an artistic style where all creation is born with the objective of reminding the human of its mortality.
“Irom Otnemem” is the anagram of “Memento Mori”.

This listing is either for one cross (inverted or classic) or both versions.

– Handmade by me.
– Sterling silver, sustainable and ethically recycled in France.
– Crafted upon order.
– The pendant size is approximately: 1,2 cm / 0,47 inches

These crosses are very dainty and MINUSCULE.

I craft each amulet upon order, giving it the inclination of your choice. I then polish it and darken it, if needed. Entirely by hand.
Each one is unique and shows minimal differences and a character of its own.

– Polished or oxidised finish

– Choose the chain length: 39cm / 15.3 inches, 42cm / 16.5 inches or 45cm / 17.7 inches

– The pendant is also available without chain.
Note: on the version without chain the jumpring will be slightly bigger to allow chains or cords to go through.

AMULETTE MEMENTO MORI & IROM OTNEMEM. Mini amulette Croix bourgeonnée / tréflée (argent écologique recyclé – crucifix classique ou croix renversée)

Une croix avec trois cercles à chaque extrémité dans un contexte chrétien représente la Sainte Trinité. Il semblerait cependant qu’elle découle du druidisme celtique où les cercles représentent les trois domaines de la Terre, du Ciel et de la Mer.

“Memento Mori” signifie “Souviens-toi que tu vas mourir”. Cette locution latine s’utilise depuis de nombreux siècles pour désigner un style artistique où toute création naît avec l’objectif de rappeler à l’humain sa mortalité.
“Irom Otnemem” est le palindrome de “Memento Mori”.

Cette pièce fait partie de ma Collection “Art Sacré”.

Cette fiche est pour une croix (renversée ou classique) ou une de chaque.

– Réalisées à la main.
– Argent durable, recyclé en France de façon éthique.
– Je crée chaque pièce sur commande.
– La croix mesure approximativement : 1,2 cm / 0,47 inches

Je crée chaque amulette sur commande en lui donnant l’inclinaison de votre choix, puis la polis et la patine, si nécessaire. Le tout entièrement à la main.
Chacune est unique et possède de minimes différences et un caractère qui lui sont propres.

– Le pendentif est également disponible sans chaîne.
A noter: dans la version sans chaîne l’anneau sera légèrement plus grand afin de permettre aux chaînes ou cordons de passer.
