Superb antique book-shaped box, made of solid wood and ironwork.
Inspired by a medieval safe with wrought iron-style ironwork.
Rustic brown wood with mahogany highlights.
Ornate hinges secured with large domed nails.
This ironwork is made of black painted metal (chipped in places).
The flap has a ring that allows a padlock to be inserted to secure the box.
The ideal addition to your castle ^^
Perfect for storing jewelelry, tiny treasures, dice, magick tools, decorating your altar, etc.
✷ CONDITION ✷
Good overall condition considering its age: the box is solid and the hinges are slightly wobbly but they work very well.
NOTE: Peeling paint, rusty metal in places (see photo), which adds to its charm.
The price reflects all of this.

Inspiration coffre fort médiéval avec ferronneries de style fer forgé.
Bois rustique brun à reflets acajou.
Charnières ornementées et fixées par de gros clous bombés.
Ces ferronneries sont en métal peint en noir (écaillé par endroits).
Le clapet présente un anneau qui permet de passer un cadenas pour sécuriser la boîte.
Idéale addition pour votre château fort ^^

Bon état général vu son âge : la boîte est solide et les charnières bougent un peu mais fonctionnent très bien.
NOTE : peinture écaillée, métal rouillé par endroits (voir photo) ce qui participe à son charme.
