Finally introducing a new piece inspired by the Ogham system. The Feda Talisman.
Feda is the plural of Fid which means “wood / tree” in old Irish.
The Ogham is an Early Medieval system used to write the early Irish language.
An abundant literature, mainly from the XIXth century, presents the Ogham as a magical and divinatory system, for the use of druids of antiquity. The archeology and the monumental stones that reached us would tend toward the opposite, namely that the ogham is simply a writing system, easy to engrave in stone.
This system is originally composed of twenty signs called “feda”, forming four groups of 5 signs, composed of 1 to 5 notches of the same type of which the orientation varies. Each feda is associated with a tree / bush. The Ogham itself is built like a tree.
The Feda Talismans are now available to order with any of the twenty signs of the Ogham system.

Voici un nouveau bijou inspiré par l’alphabet Ogham. Le Talisman Feda.
Feda est le pluriel de Fid qui signifie “bois / arbre” en irlandais ancien.
L’Ogham est un signaire antique utilisé principalement pour l’écriture de l’irlandais primitif.
Une littérature très abondante, surtout depuis le XIXe siècle, présente l’ogham comme un système magique et divinatoire, à l’usage des druides de l’antiquité. L’archéologie et les pierres monumentales qui sont arrivées jusqu’à nous, tenteraient plutôt de nous montrer le contraire, à savoir que l’ogham est simplement un système d’écriture, facile à graver dans la pierre.
Ce système se compose originellement de vingt signes appelés “feda”, formant quatre groupes de 5 signes, composées de 1 à 5 encoches d’un même type dont l’orientation varie. Chaque feda est associée a un arbre / arbuste. L’Ogham lui-même est construit comme un arbre.
Les Talismans Feda sont maintenant disponibles à la commande avec n’importe laquelle des vingt signes de l’alphabet Ogham.
