The moon and the stars were jealous of Huitzilopochtli -the sun-. Therefore Huitzilopochtli used the “serpent of fire” during his birth to defeat them. From that point forward, the stars and the moon continued to battle the sun.
Therefore, the Aztecs considered each sunrise to be a celebration of the victory of the sun over the moon and the stars.

Coatlicue était la déesse de la terre et l’on pensait également qu’elle avait donné naissance à Centzonhuitznahuac -les étoiles- et Coyolxauhqui -la lune-.

La lune et les étoiles étaient jalouses d’Huitzilopochtli -le soleil-. C’est ainsi qu’afin de les défier, Huitzilopochtli utilisa le « serpent de feu » lors de sa naissance. A partir de ce moment là, les étoiles et la lune continuèrent à lutter contre le soleil.
C’est pourquoi les Aztèques considèrent chaque lever de soleil comme une victoire du soleil contre la lune et les étoiles.

Il y a un lac et un bel étang d’eau salée entouré de roses blanches et de rochers d’ardoise noire et je pense que cela serait SUPERBE avec tes bijoux, car les rochers noirs ont un côté sombre et morose.

J’ai été flattée lorsque Sofia & David Alexander ont accepté de prendre des photos de mes bijoux. Puis Sofia m’a écrit ces quelques lignes à propos de l’endroit où elle comptait prendre les photos … Je n’aurais pu être plus impatiente de voir le résultat qu’à la lecture de ces mots !
